Scunthorpe United have completed the loan signing of Huddersfield Town defender Murray Wallace on an initial one month deal.
The Scottish centre-back has mad 58 appearances fro the Terriers since signing from Falkirk in 2012. Wallace was coached by Iron boss Mar Robins during his time at the John Smith Stadium, and being reunited with his former gaffer may just give him the edge to push his way into Chris Powell’s plans.
Upon his arrival at Glanford Park, Huddersfield boss Chris Powell told the club website: “Murray can count himself a little unlucky to have found himself out of our side after a good pre-season. “I could be selfish and keep Murray in the building but at his age and stage of his development, I believe it is the best thing for Murray and the club if he goes out and plays regular football at a good level.”
